About Danny

Hailing from London, Danny started young in the business, washing pots and pans on a Sunday in his dads restaurant. Soon that progressed to helping the chefs, then onto  the restaurant floor and working the bar. 

During University days, whilst studying Engineering,  extra income was earnt working in various bars  around Newcastle. 

Likewise after graduation, while job hunting, the work continued in bars & restaurants in London. Realising that his passion was in these bars & restaurants, much more so than Engineering, a full time career in f&b was pursued. 

With major F&B training provided by Cafe Rouge, and specifically under the mentorship of Bobby Dazzler, further knowledge & experience was gained in Beach Blanket Babylon, Belgo Group of Restaurants, The Collection ( Signature Group) and then finally overseeing Babushka Group of Vodka Bars throughout London. 

Winning numerous awards along the way, including "Timeout London Bar of the Year", the strength of outlets was all about training & teamwork.

Asia then beckoned, and Danny arrived in Kuala Lumpur to help set up Grappa Soho in downtown KL. A short stint in Singapore to set up The Alley Bar, yet was drawn back to KL to help run Telawi Street Bistro (TSB). 

Eventually leaving TSB and La Bodega Group as Operations Manager to open Twentyone Kitchen + Bar in Changkat, this was shortly followed by opening Twentyone Tables+Terrace in BSC. 

From this, opening  W1 dining and cocktails, in bangsar followed and alongside this the move into restaurant and bar training and consulting.
